Ohana developed the 12-6 TR (Touring/Race) to be an all
around board for any level of paddler who may want to paddle
for pleasure or decide to race in it’s class and be competitive.
The cutting nose entry and stable rail and bottom contours
make this shape perform extremely well in rough and windy conditions
into the wind, down wind and mixed swells. In flat water conditions
the 12-6 TR has a smooth entry and great tail release.

The race proven Hobie 12’6 Elite is a quintessential
part of SUP racing evolution. Developed in conjunction with
our world class team of elite paddlers, and most notably Byron
Kurt who has been instrumental in the design’s subtle
refinements.
The 12’6 Elite is one of the most well rounded race/tour
boards on the SUP market today, it is stable in the chop,
fast in all conditions, and performs well in the surf.
Utilizing the latest in high tech materials the Poly
Carbon Epoxy construction “PCX” creates a board
that is light weight, extremely durable and stiff for speed.

only in Eilte construction with partial carbon fiber.

Ohana developed the 14’
TR (Touring/Race) to be an all around board for any level
of paddler. However, once prototyped and tested we found
this board to be extremely stable and very fast as shown
in the Catalina Challenge by taking first place in the Womens’
division. The cutting nose entry and stable rail and bottom
contours make this shape perform extremely well in rough
and windy conditions into the wind, down wind and mixed
swells. In flat water conditions the 14’ TR is the
most quiet board we have developed.
The 14’ TR is constructed with 1 pound EPS foam,
epoxy resins over 2 layers fiberglass top and bottom with
another layer within the console area. Deck is gloss and
polish with a sanded bottom finish. Shape includes a domed
deck to repel water over the top surface and a flat console
for foot placement. Console runs out the tail to remove
any water which may wash onto the deck area.

10’-6 by 404 is a stable fast board; it was designed
as a training board for Danny Ching. Easily transportable
SUP for daily use.
After lugging around a 12’6” racing board we found
that 10'6" seemed the ideal length.
The major difference in the two is it's Greater width
allows for better stability.

Taking the glide characteristics of our race line and
applying it to a wider and more forgiving platform, we created
a fantastic line of touring stand up paddleboards. Our R8-TourTEC
construction techniques and masterful use of materials make
for a light and efficient design. With the overwhelming response
of this line of boards and the multitude of requests last
year, we are now offering these beautiful boards in 2 sizes,
the original 11'4" and the all new 12'6" version.
Once again these boards are bound to be a huge hit in 2012.
Their efficient load carrying design and incredibly stable
shape make them at home in ocean or flat water. Whether loaded
